DePaul Athletics partnered on a comprehensive renovation of the Sullivan Athletic Center and McGrath-Phillips Arena with a focus on modernizing the facility while celebrating the identity and legacy of Blue Demon Athletics. Completed in August 2024, the project reimagined the multi-sport facility through intentional branding and storytelling that highlight the pride, grit, and competitive spirit of DePaul’s 15 varsity programs. From team-specific locker rooms equipped with custom graphics to the revitalized performance spaces and hallways lined with visual narratives, every element reinforces a unified athletic identity while giving each sport its own distinct voice within the larger DePaul story.

The branding strategy extended throughout the arena and support spaces enhancing the game-day atmosphere with powerful visual moments. Graphics and messaging were integrated into academic support areas, lounges, and corridors reinforcing the holistic experience of being a DePaul athlete. This project not only modernized the facility but also established a cohesive, story-driven environment that inspires current athletes, attracts recruits, and positions DePaul Athletics as a vibrant force within the national collegiate landscape.
