New Build
The newly built Jack Turner Stadium for Georgia Softball was designed with one purpose: to elevate the student-athlete experience while delivering a bold, unforgettable identity for the program. From powerful branding moments to elevated team environments, the space blends modern functionality with emotional impact. A thoughtful mix of light, bright spaces and dark, moody zones guides athletes through every phase of their day—from moments of camaraderie to competitive intensity. The reimagined layout considers the natural rhythm of a game or practice day, creating a seamless flow from the moment players arrive.
Every step of the student-athlete journey shaped the design. From the parking lot, athletes head straight to the locker room to drop their gear before moving into the lounge—a bright, open space to fuel up, settle in, and connect as a team. From there, the flow leads to the weight room and batting cages, building momentum before stepping onto the field. One of the most talked-about upgrades is the transformed locker room, affectionately dubbed “The Death Star”—a sleek, powerful space wrapped in dark tones and commanding energy. The renovation doesn’t just support the needs of the team—it reflects their grit, pride, and pursuit of greatness.
