Renovation
The renovation of UCLA's Yates Gymnastics Center was designed to reflect the energy, excellence, and legacy of one of the most successful programs in collegiate gymnastics. As a seven-time NCAA National Champion, UCLA deserved a training environment that celebrates its history while inspiring the next generation of Bruins. Throughout the facility, bold graphics, vibrant colors, and custom environmental branding reinforce the program's championship culture and unmistakable identity.
A central theme of the renovation highlights UCLA Gymnastics as the "Best Show in Los Angeles," paying tribute to the program's nationally recognized floor performances that have captivated audiences and produced viral moments, including those of Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles. A Hollywood-inspired feature wall showcases the iconic Los Angeles skyline beneath a radiant California sun, connecting the program to the city it proudly represents. Together, these immersive elements create a facility that celebrates performance, embraces the excitement of UCLA Gymnastics, and reminds every athlete who walks through the doors that they are part of something truly special.
