The Virginia Harrison Family Olympic Sports Center was designed to elevate the daily experience of Virginia’s Olympic sport student-athletes while providing the resources needed to compete at the highest level. Serving eight athletic programs, the facility brings together locker rooms, team meeting spaces, lounges, strength and conditioning areas, sports medicine, nutrition services, equipment operations, staff offices, and an outdoor terrace into one cohesive home. The design emphasizes connectivity, collaboration, and athlete well-being, creating an environment that supports every aspect of performance—from training and recovery to team culture and personal development.

More than just a new building, the Olympic Sports Center represents Virginia’s continued investment in its student-athletes and championship aspirations. Throughout the facility, branding, storytelling, and environmental graphics reinforce the pride, commitment, and tradition that define Virginia Athletics.
